Fun With the Russells :)

I can't get over how big our boys are getting.  It seems like yesterday that Deborah and I were pregnant with Graham and Emerson (and teaching elementary school together), and Graham is starting Kindergarten in the fall!  It makes me so, so sad.

This was Langston's very first play date at another kid's house! (besides when he was playing on a blanket before he was mobile!)  It is so tricky visiting others when your child has life threatening food allergies.  You have to be very close to them...because you have to make requests of others at their own houses!  Kinda crazy!  I'm thankful to my close friends that understand our situation.  It is getting a little easier now that he is understanding that he has allergies and can also tell me when he is itchy or not feeling right.  Also, he has never been to a birthday party besides his own and his brother's.  Sad...I know.  But, I know as he gets bigger and understands more and more that he will be able to do more and more..like birthday parties!

This was a BIG day for Langston.  Y'all...this was his FIRST visit to a park. :)  He was in Heaven. :)  Let me remind you...he is two years, two months.

This and That

Our sweet neighbor brought over a watermelon to share.  The boys just love her.  :)  She is like their third grandma!

She is battling ovarian cancer.  Emerson doesn't let a night pass without praying for her.

 Pawpaw and Hailey
 Mimi and Emerson
We are still enjoying our weekend dinners.  Here and there we have a few things slow us down.  It is nice because we have at least one birthday a month to celebrate, so this gives us an excuse to have a birthday party as well.

 Langston loves Aunt Lissa.
The big kids are great with my little ones. :)

I love this shirt I'm wearing.  It is the cutest, fat little bird with a pink ribbon.  Under the bird it says, "I Wear Pink for my Sister-In-Law". :)

I love sitting and listening to the boys when they are playing, especially when they don't know I am listening.  They were in my laundry basket which was their boat...fishing!  So sweet.

My Grandmother is now living in a nursing home.  She LOVES visiting with Emerson.  Who wouldn't?  He is so great when we visit.  It makes my heart happy.

My cousin, Brian, and his family were visiting, too.

We love our Moomaw, and we are appreciating every minute we spend with her these days.

The Cousins at the Land

If you ask Emerson who his favorite people in the world are, these two guys make the list!  Trevor and Travis are great to him. :)

The boys enjoyed driving our UTV.

 Catching minnows.

Trevor and I came across a tree in our path.  We didn't have any way to turn the buggy around, so he sawed it. :)  It was REALLY long.

 Hotdogs...a staple at the land

Langston fell asleep on a buggy ride.

I got brave and let my brothers' boys take Emerson out.

 So, so sweet :)

I already cherish all the memories we are making at our property. We LOVE this place.
