Brian and I went to the opening night of Rodeo Houston! We enjoyed the rodeo and watching Rascal Flatts perform. They were wonderful... Most of all, we enjoyed being out ALONE and on a date. Thank you Mom so much for keeping Emerson. I know it was a late night for you!
I love the rodeo time. As we were driving last night, I was reminiscing about our dating days. One of our very first dates was to the rodeo. I can remember every detail of the night! I cannot believe six years have passed...
Back to Rascal Flatts, I've been wanting to see them for a very long time now. It just hasn't worked out for us before. Last year during rodeo time, Emerson was still so small and I was teaching at the time, so we just couldn't make it. I was a little nervous that we wouldn't make it this year because my sister's baby is due any day now. (thanks Amanda for keeping that little girl in for a little longer! :)
Brian and I love to go to concerts...we have been to SO MANY together. I would say this is one of our favorite things to do! He even flew me out to Las Vegas (in 2007) to see my very favorite performer Elton John. Our tickets were right up front. It is one of the most memorable times in my life...ranking right up there with getting married and having Emerson! (understand how much I love Elton John?)
