A Sweetheart of a Weekend

Brian, Emerson, and I started our "Sweetheart Weekend" out by celebrating the closing on our new property near Lake Livingston. Brian has always wanted a place of our own to get away for the weekend. He's so excited about fishing and four-wheeling with our BOYS! It will certainly be a work in progress for a long time. Eventually, we would like to put some type of cabin out here for overnight stays. We are super excited about our purchase!!!

The pond...we need to work on clearing out around it and clearing up the water a bit. There's fish in this pond- fun stuff!

Emerson is already lovin' the land.

I can't wait to see how everything looks in the summer!

This is our VERY patriotic fence. We need to work on getting this fence all one color!

This is the marina that is 3 miles from our property.

On Sunday, my boys surprised me with these gorgeous roses...

Brian spoiled our Little E with these for breakfast :)

He even got to drink out of THREE straws...because he wanted to.

35 weeks...ahhh getting too close!

My little sweetheart in the belly-

We had fun browsing the Bass Pro Shop.

Emerson enjoyed the fish...

Then we had lunch here...

Big mistake! Emerson was so scared of the animals and thunderstorms...he kept asking to go by-by. Brian and I felt terrible!

The moving gorillas really did him in...

Poor baby-

Hopefully, he enjoyed his COKE!

Look at this face...and his little clenched hands....I feel so bad that we tortured him!

Yep...he was asking to leave again!

He was excited to return to the Bass Pro Shop where the animals didn't move or make any noises! We felt so bad, we bought him this wolf that howls. He calls it a "woof"!

All of the excitement wore him out!

He relaxed in a bubble bath later that evening!

That was our "Sweetheart of a Weekend"!

You will love having a get-a-way place to go to. We have a family ranch right outside of Huntsville, and it is SO, SO great!! I think you should leave the patriotic fence. HA!! ;) Oh, and both of our girls were TERRIFIED of Rain Forest the first time we went. It does get better! Now, they love it!!!!
