I caught my big boy doing this...
I promise you...this is the last thing he needs to be eating...if you know what I mean!
They love to chill on the couch with each other.
And I love when they chill!

Poor Langston! His first veggie! Carrots... (he likes them better now!)
Love these faces!
Yummy! I forgot how messy they can be. ***************************
Emerson really likes my parent's cat, Joy! (I DON'T LIKE CATS...they make me sneeze!)

We helped Colter celebrate his 3rd birthday this past weekend! It was a super fun, Super Hero party! (getting candy from the pinata)
He filled his pockets!

Great Pictures, Misty. I love seeing the boys. The one where Emerson is eating the candies out of the jar, reminds me of something Brian would do. I hope all is well, tell Brian I said Hi. Kim Homan
I was a teacher before I became a full-time stay at home mom. It was very difficult finding a name for my first little boy that I didn't associate with a child I knew from school. So, Brian and I went for a unique name...Emerson, a name that I have always adored. In thinking about his name, I realized it was the last name of a great American poet - Ralph Waldo Emerson. I Googled "Great American Poets" in searching for my second little one's name. We fell in love with the name Langston- when the search turned up- Langston Hughes. Now my boys have very intellectual names...and a good story to go with them!
Hi, I'm Misty! I am a Texas girl at heart, born and raised here. There isn't another state that I would rather be. My husband is from Pennsylvania. Brian and I met while I was in college. His career brought him to Texas, and I'm so blessed it did. He is the love of my life. We were married in July 2004. I taught second grade for 5 years and worked as a gifted and talented specialist teaching K-4 for one year before I became a stay at home mom. We have two boys. Emerson is 5 and Langston is 3. I love being at home with my boys, but it is a challenging job! Actually being a mom is probably the most challenging thing I've done in my life, but the rewards are great. Langston keeps us on our toes from the time we wake up until we go to sleep. Brian and I as a team manage his life-threatening food allergies to milk, egg, fish and shellfish. He outgrew his peanut allergy! Thank you, Jesus! We pray every day that he will outgrow at least a few more of them! Our boys fill our hearts and lives with joy that just can't be put into words. I thank God for Brian, Emerson, and Langston! I'm truly blessed!

Thanks, Kim. Yes, that is totally Brian. He has a sweet tooth and loves junk food just like his Dad! Glad you keep up with my sweet boys. :)
