What's Happening at The Straley House?

Brian just returned from a LONG business trip to Singapore. This was his second time to go there. He says it is a nice place, and that I would love the shopping, but I would never survive the 21 hour flight....yep, you heard me right...21 HOURS. We are so happy he is home.

This little guy is just doing new things every day. :) He is such a good baby, and he is so easy to take care of. I didn't know babies could be such a breeze. I definitely had my difficult one first. :)

This weekend Amanda, Darryl, and Peyton came to visit. We took the kids to Zube Park in Hockley. They have little mini-trains that you can ride. They are SO NEAT! They are actual trains that run on tracks. Emerson and I rode the train with Peyton, Amanda, and my Mom. Langston was a spectator with Uncle Darryl, Brian, and my Dad. I can't wait to take Langston back when he is a little bigger so he can enjoy the train.

Peyton and Emerson are so cute together! They are always hugging and holding hands...I love it! He loves his cousins.

I love this girl...

The ride was so cool. It was a pretty long ride that went through the park and into some woods along a creek. I was really impressed, and the kids L-O-V-E-D it! If your kids enjoy trains, I highly recommend trying this out. The train runs on the third Saturday of the month from March through November. You can watch a video of the train at www.hals.org Check it out!

My friend Lori told us about the train park several months ago but we always seem to have something going on on the 3rd Saturdays. Hopefully we can make it next spring! Maybe we can all meet out there and Langston will be big enough for a ride.
