This and That...

Look at how swollen Langston's arm is near his elbow. (It doesn't look as big as it was in the picture. Just imagine a golf ball sticking out of a one year old's arm. ) This is how he reacts to mosquito bites. Yikes! It scares me to death. The doctor assures me that it looks worse than it is. He explained to me that because he has food allergies, he is producing too many histamines when he gets bit. A few doses of Benadryl usually takes the swelling away, but he did have to take a steroid to relieve the swelling on his foot from a bug bite. This boy stresses me out!

The boys love to move around my dining room chairs and make "choo choos"! They take blankets, sippy cups, and toys along on their train rides! :)

Langston talking to Grammy. Diane- I thought you would like to see this in action since you are always on the other end!

He does really well talking on the phone!

This is Emerson's version of a hands free headset! :) He did this on his own! Funny!

Emerson is finally asking to call Grammy and Pappap these days! He is finally enjoying phone conversations!

The boys sweet Daddy had to travel to the Czech Republic last week. He left them a gift and a note for each day that he was gone. The boys looked forward to getting their present every morning. It was a good visual for Emerson to see when he was going to return. :) So sweet!

Some were wrapped and some were in paper bags...

Loved this note...he told Emerson to cheer for Penn State if he found them on TV! (Saturday)

He sent me these beautiful flowers while he was away!

We are so thankful to have our Daddy back home!

Amanda and I took our little darlings to a pumpkin patch while she and Peyton were in town. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get these three to look at the camera at the same time. Langston is the true challenge. Emerson would smile for me all day! :)

I could get the back of his head!!

Look at this BEAUTY!

Langston always has a bruise, scrape, or scratch on his head...Bless his heart!

We took the kids on this train!

Emerson insisted on going down this inflatable slide at the pumpkin patch! :) He was SO scared of it last year when he had just turned 3!
Also, thank you Mimi and Pawpaw for going along with us, too! It was so helpful! :)

********

My Dad and half his grandchildren...they all insisted on sitting with Pawpaw to watch football! :) Langston has Oreos all over his face. Did you know that Oreos are milk free? JOY!
