A few weekends ago, Brian and I took Emerson to the Sam Houston State campus. It was a beautiful day. We enjoyed walking around, chasing squirrels, and soaking up a few rays of sun. I enjoyed seeing things I haven't seen in so long, and reminiscing about my college days! It has been nearly seven years since I graduated from Sam. I think I counted five other people in my family that have graduated from this school! (My sister Amanda, her husband Darryl, my cousin Brian, my cousin Summer, and my Uncle Pat.. my cousin Luke is currently attending...I think attending Sam is a family thing!) Maybe Emerson will go here one day too. I don't think we'll be able to afford that out-of-state tuition to Penn State (Daddy's school)...although Emerson does have a rocking chair that says "Future Nittany Lion" from his Grammy and PapPap.
