Rest and Relaxation...Bahamas Style!

Our first night out...

We saw a cultural parade with lots of music and beautiful costumes...I stepped into the parade for this picture!

This was a crazy fire-eating woman!

We put our chairs down toward the end of this beach and had a nice little area just to ourselves...

Everyone thought we were on our honeymoon...there were lots of honeymooners at the resort (We honeymooned 5 YEARS AGO in Hawaii...Maui for a little while....Oahu for a little while)

This is a giant chess game... I had to take this picture since once upon a time I was the chess club sponsor/coach when I was the gifted and talented specialist at the school I worked at...no I'm not a good chess player!

We ate at a fantastic restaurant named the Crystal Room...

Can you see why it is called that?

This isn't a good picture...but we listened to a cool outdoor Reggae band....

(more pictures to come)

Brian and I dusted off our Passports and took off to the Bahamas for the week! We really love to travel and haven't been able to do much of that since our little Emerson arrived. We stayed four nights/five days at Sandals Royal Bahamian Resort. It was the perfect amount of time away from our little guy. Any longer, would have been too long for me! It was a fabulous, relaxing get-away. Our trip landed in the the middle of many special occasions, so we said we were celebrating one each night of our trip! (my 30th birthday in May, Brian's completion of Graduate school, Brian's 33rd birthday in July, and our 5th wedding anniversary in July...whewww... we did a lot of celebrating on one trip!) Thank you so much Mom and Dad for keeping our little guy- I know he's hard work!
