Weekend of Fun!

Last weekend, we packed up and headed to Aunt Amanda, Uncle Darryl, and Peyton's new house! The boys did pretty well on the the four hour drive. Emerson was perfect and Langston was well, a typical one year old! :) The kids enjoyed spending time with their cousin so much!
The kids with their dads! So SWEET! Doesn't Peyton look like her Daddy?

Play-doh!

Peyton is so precious! I love being around a GIRL!

Emerson in PINK bunny ears! :)

Langston checking out the pool...

He LOVED Amanda and Darryl's room...

The kids enjoyed the golf cart rides! (not to worry...I was sitting next to Langston!)

This is Amanda's GORGEOUS house! You would think it was the middle of winter. The grass is brown because of the terrible drought we are experiencing in Texas.

Just look at that pretty little face!

Langston in the PINK swing!

This is as close as we got to swimming. The night we arrived, a cold front came in!

We took the kids to the Stock Yards to see the cattle drive. :) They have one twice a day!

Pey and Emerson

the longhorns...

Emerson was so afraid that Langston was going to run off towards the longhorns! He was being so protective!

Lots of fun shopping...Uncle Darryl scored himself another set of longhorns to hang in his house!

Check out this lady riding a longhorn through the streets!

Check out these ladies sitting on this LONGHORN!

Here is my fam!

Peyton and Emerson rode these ponies. Well, Peyton got on first, and then Emerson decided that he wanted to ride. :) Darryl and I were the lucky ones that got to walk around in pony poop alongside our little ones! (Thanks Amanda and Brian! Ha!)

Emerson begged for a longhorn balloon. We had to track down the guy that was making them!

Back at the house...

We took another cart ride..this time all 7 of us! We went looking for deer!

If you enlarge this picture, you can see a deer between the trees! We were successful!

Thank you Polasek Family for such a fun weekend! :) Amanda did such a fabulous job accomodating our food allergy baby by cooking "safe meals" for him! We can't wait to come back. You have a beautiful home. We LOVE you all so much!
