We headed to Fort Worth on Saturday (New Year's Eve). We cooked dinner, put the kids down, and the big kids toasted the new year! We are such old, losers that we were sooo tired and couldn't make it until midnight, so we celebrated East Coast style at 11:00! Ha! I shouldn't have admitted that! Seriously, we counted down and broke out the champagne at 11! :)
The highlight of the trip was Amanda's sweet animals, especially Buddy. The boys were so excited that Amanda and Darryl finally brought over a few of their animals to their new house. They have there very own petting zoo!
On Monday, Brian and Darryl went to Dallas to watch the University of Houston and Penn State Bowl game. It was such an awesome weekend! Thanks Amanda and Darryl for having us...we will be back soon!
