You may think I'm behind on blogging, but this celebration just took place last week! :) We usually travel to Florida to visit Brian's family BEFORE Christmas. This year, it didn't turn out as planned. We had our flights booked, and we were ready. A few days before leaving, Langston came down with a terrible ear infection and cold. The doctor advised us not to fly since it could result in his eardrum rupturing. Both boys actually had AWFUL colds, so it wouldn't have been much fun at all. Fortunately, we had insurance on the tickets and were able to rebook our trip during January! My mother-in-law was so super sweet. She kept her Christmas lights up, tree up, and all Christmas decor in her house. The BOYS loved it, and it was just as special in January as it would have been in December. Have I ever mentioned I have THE BEST mother-in-law in the world?
There was even an arranged visit from Santa. It was awesome. Emerson L-O-V-E-D it! (My pics may be a little off because they loaded by number and some are from my camera and some are from Brian's mom's camera.)
Whoa!
He came with gifts and all!
Then it was present time with the family...
These boys are VERY spoiled!
Uncle Scott and Charissa
Penn State hard hats...and a Cars tool belt
My boys still LOVE pillowpets. They got new Penn State ones! Their goal is to have at least five like their cousin Peyton! :)
Lovin' Grammy
All of "the boys"!
Uncle Scott, Charissa, and Precious!
We had such a wonderful evening. I'm so thankful for Brian and his family...
