San Francisco 2012 (continued)

We had breakfast at an awesome little cafe named Curly's.  Wow!  How nice it was to have someone serve me breakfast instead of serving my little darlings breakfast! :)  Oh, and we had eggs and cheese and all the good stuff that is off limits at our house!

We walked a little after breakfast and saw this gem! It was gorgous...Amanda and I were in love!

I felt bad for Amanda having to walk this hill to the apartment, walk the outside stairs, and one more flight inside the door!  Bless her heart...baby and all!
Outside of "our" apartment
Daytime views from our windows...see the Bay Bridge?

Then, we rented a car for the day to go to Napa Valley!  It was an adventure driving in the city!  Glad it was Brian and not me!
We needed food IN A HURRY for lunch so we stopped at Applebee's in Napa!  Remember we had a pregnant lady with us! Ha!  The cute couple playing the electronic couple game!
Napa was beautiful, but hot!  San Francisco was SO VERY cold, but when we went here, it was unusually warm.  (That's what everyone was telling us.)  At one time, our car said 113!

It was amazing seeing winery after winery.  We had a lot of good laughs!  Amanda is pregnant and Brian was driving, so Darryl and I were the official wine tasters!  Hee hee!

I took this one for my boys!

Then, we headed to the Wine Train.  They shuttle you to a private tour of a winery, then pick you up on a vintage train where you have a five course meal.  Finally, Brian could enjoy some wine tasting, too!
We toured Grgich Hills Estate.  It was so neat and interesting.  They grow all their grapes organically and biodynamically.

Our tour guide was Jordyn.  He did a wonderful job.  You know how some tours are annoying?  This guy was great...
Amanda has water in her glass at all times.  I promise!

The cellar was COLD and had such a neat smell.

Where they label the bottles.
They had us pair different wines with different cheeses. This was fun!

They gave us goofy glasses to read labels!

The lovebirds...
and two more lovebirds...kissing in the grapes. :)

Then, the train arrived...and we rode off into the sunset on a vintage train.  If you'd like to see more about the train you can click, HERE !

Come back soon for more pictures of our fun vacay!
