The Zoo!

Last Thursday, we spent the day at the zoo. We've never taken Emerson to the Houston Zoo, and he has been asking to go for quite a while now. We took him to the Ft. Worth Zoo when he was one. This was Langston's first trip to the zoo. They both LOVED it. I didn't know what Langston would do, but he was really into looking at the animals and making lots of sounds! :)Grandpa Straley and Ms. Cindy joined us, too! We all had a great time.

I'm not a fan of petting zoos, but I was a good mom and let them participate. I'll have to say this is one of the nicer petting zoos that I've been in.

Langston may have enjoyed this more than Emerson!

I know I've mentioned before that Emerson L-O-V-E-S carousels...well we of course had to ride the carousel at the zoo!

This was my favorite part of the day. You could pay a little fee to walk up a platform and feed the giraffes! I LOVED it! Emerson had just given the giraffe lettuce in this picture. :)

Then, it was Langston's turn...I helped a little. :)

They both crashed in the car on the way home with their stuffed Rhinos!
